Although ACSI recommends Level 6 for kindergarten spring administration, schools also have the choice of administering Level 5. (Riverside Insights lists Level 5 administration beginning at midyear kindergarten and Level 6 beginning at spring kindergarten.) Whether schools choose Level 5 or 6 at kindergarten, Level 7 should be administered at grade 1.
