EE Webinar: Virtual Teaching to Partner with Parents- Part 1 of 2-part series

Online - Zoom
Wednesday, September 23, 2020 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM   iCalendar

With the start of this new school year many educators and parents are having to navigate the unique and challenging virtual experience. Teachers and parents are having to adopt new strategies with creative ways to deliver an educational experience that is successful and supports retention and synthesis for learning. At the same time, parents and educators are tasked to manage their child’s sensory, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs, which directly impacts the virtual educational experience and child-teacher relationship. As early childhood educators we need many tools in our tool belt to meet the needs of young students. Join us to learn from an expert Pediatric Occupational Therapist. Dillen owns a private pediatric practice with a team that has been conducting virtual therapy with clients. He will share what they have learned and how they are currently partnering with parents to teach young learners.
