How do young children come to know God? What does it look like to help them grow in faith during the earliest years of life? In this session, we'll explore key concepts in the spiritual formation of young children-including how they begin to form an image of God, how faith develops over time, and how educators and caregivers can intentionally set the stage for spiritual growth. We'll examine the role of worship, prayer, and Bible study in the early years, and discuss practical ways to make these experiences meaningful and developmentally appropriate. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, including lesson planning from a Bible story and designing worship experiences tailored for young children. This session is designed to encourage and equip those who desire to disciple young hearts with both purpose and joy.
