Course Overview

Designed from a biblical worldview, this California-mandated anti-harassment training is led by Philip Scott, Vice President for Legal Affairs, and Jennifer Gonzales, ACSI Senior Human Resource Generalist, of ACSI. The course explains state and federal harassment laws, reporting responsibilities, and workplace bullying prevention for employees in Christian schools. Participants will gain practical guidance for maintaining a respectful, legally compliant, and Christ-centered work environment.

Completion of this course fulfills the California-mandated anti-harassment training requirement for employees during the 2026–27 school year.

Instructors

Philip Scott, ACSI Vice President for Legal Affairs

Philip Scott is an attorney, HR professional, and educator with extensive experience providing training on harassment prevention, discrimination, retaliation, and workplace compliance. His background uniquely integrates education, employment law, human resources, and ethics—qualifying him as a “trainer or educator” under applicable state and federal guidelines.

Jennifer Gonzales, ACSI Senior Human Resource Generalist

Jennifer Gonzales is an experienced educational administrator and trainer with more than 18 years of service in Christian education and nearly 11 years in senior operational leadership as a Business Office Director at a private school. Her work equips her to provide practical, experience-based training on workplace expectations, professional conduct, reporting responsibilities, and organizational accountability.
