The Flourishing Christian School Board: Relational Practices is the second course in an engaging three-course series. A distinguished ensemble of ACSI leaders and seasoned experts will guide your board on the journey to becoming a biblically flourishing Christian school board. This flexible training allows school boards to host their own in-person professional development that promotes research-based practices in Christ-centered governance.

Registration

Choose a facilitator from your school board to conduct the training. Register the facilitator to gain access to the online course materials. You may also register your board members as participants at no additional cost. Board members and facilitators must be registered for the online course to earn CEUs. CEUs will be awarded automatically for registered users who complete the in-person sessions and the online portions of the course.

Cost: $249 Member / $399 Nonmember

What’s Included:

  • A Facilitator Guide for a representative from the school board to utilize in setting the agenda and in guiding the training for school board members
  • A Participant Notebook for participants, including digital resources, worksheets, Scripture reflections, and discussion questions
  • 3.5 hours of training, including video content and discussion prompts

Course Details

In this second course of three in the Flourishing Board series, school board members will apply the relational practices of leading a flourishing Christian school. Together as a school board, you will distinguish between roles of the board members and head of school. Then, you will analyze your processes for evaluating the head of school. Next, you will refine your processes for creating and utilizing effective committees. And finally, you will recognize the various community engagement roles of board members.
